The iM-Type truss system from Global Truss is a 4-point heavy-duty system with an external dimension of 35 cm. This system is characterized by its very high load capacity and compact design. It is suitable for large ground support and outdoor applications. Thanks to its high buckling resistance, this truss is also suitable for vertical applications. This truss system is designed for a span of up to 30 m.

The iM-Type truss is made of 48x4.5 mm chord tubes and 25x3 mm diagonal bracings made of aluminum. The trusses are connected with clevis connectors. Like all Global Truss trusses, this one can also be powder coated in any color.

On all M-Type corner elements from Global Truss engineered by Camco, the fork connectors for the two horizontal outlets in the direction of the main support tubes are riveted in place—the connectors for the other horizontal and vertical outlets are welded on.

Now consider the corner element in such a way that, when installed horizontally, the male parts of the fork connectors point to the 12 o'clock position of an imaginary clock.

For male connectors at the 12 o'clock position, insert an M (male) in the first position after the hyphen in the type designation of the corner element. Example: MCM... If there are no connectors at the 12 o'clock position, insert a 0 instead. Example: MC-0... Now add the characters M (male), F (female) or 0 (not present) for the horizontal outlets at the 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions to the second, third and fourth positions after the hyphen, respectively.

Example: MC-MM0F

If the corner element also has vertical outlets, indicate these in the same way after another dash in the type designation: in the first position for the downward outlet, in the second position for the upward outlet. Again, if there is no connector, use a 0 instead.

Example: MC-MFFM-0F.

If a 0 is followed only by further zeros on the same level, these are omitted.
