DMX signals are digital data streams which can not be added by connecting in series. Therefore you need a converter which is equipped with two receivers and one transmitter. This device receives all data and emits them exactly composed. The merging can take place in different kinds: signal cohere, filter the highest signal and pass on, convert addresses etc.
