On 28th October 2017 the grand opening of the STAGE CAMPUS took place in Karlsbad, Germany. The STAGE CAMPUS brings companies of the event industry together. On more than 12,000 square meters the STAGE CAMPUS offers enough space for manufacturers, service providers and dealers from the event technology industry. From a single office place to a large office space to production lines – the STAGE CAMPUS offers a suitable space for every company. At the moment the STAGE CAMPUS is home for the B&K Braun GmbH, the Global Truss GmbH, the LEDium GmbH, the EHRGEIZ Lichttechnik GmbH as well as the LAX Europa GmbH.
After finishing the modernization of the building and the move in of the companies during this year the STAGE CAMPUS was officially opened with a big celebration.
The companies of STAGE CAMPUS organized an entertaining and colorful framework program with interesting workshops, entertainment, networking and live music. Furthermore some of the B&K Braun suppliers were presenting their products. Thanks to this the visitors where able to have a look on the products of INNLED and Ape Labs and could ask the manufacturer questions about their products. Also Brennenstuhl was present on this day with an own information booth and quite surprised as some of their products were sold right away from the stand.
The workshops were very well received by the visitors. Besides the Novastar workshop the shoot out of EHRGEIZ created a high response. As a special highlight Global Truss conducted a practical test to proof the durability of their F34 truss under TUV standards. Only after the double of the maximum allowed load the truss gave up and broke.
Right after the official part the STAGE CAMPUS lottery took place and the visitors were able to win prices like a Rigging Pirates voucher, DJ Power smoke machines or products by MAGIC FX and Smoke Factory. As first prize the visitors were able to win a 32” Professional Display by LG.
Right away the Q-Stall Party band entered the show stage and played some great music. At the peak of this celebration the band SMASH took over the crowd and played the best rock anthems until the early morning.
